LNG Operations recently identified a significant high-grade lithium brine resource from sampling of the Smackover formation located on 50,000 acres in Texas.
For the last 15 months, the LNG Operations team has been deepening its knowledge of the Smackover Formation through examination of petro-physical logs, 3D seismic data, and existing core sample analysis from earlier drilling activity.
These very high grade lithium brine resources, located in the heart of the Gulf Coast region will typically result in lower extraction costs.
